Actualize your financial independence

The aim of our model portfolio is to help our members achieve financial independence. Warren Buffet says that investing through an "index fund is the most sensible equity investment for the great majority of equity investors". However, Warren Buffet does not index, and neither do we. This is because we put in the time and effort on your behalf that is necessary to generate alpha. Thus, while financial independence can usually be achieved with simple indexing over a significant period of time (by generating beta), the SOFI Model Portfolio is designed to fasten the process by generating and sustaining returns that have consistently beaten the returns delivered by benchmark indexes (please refer to our previous performance).

We look for growing businesses with a durable competitive advantage in their industries, which are run by honest and competent management, and are available at an attractive or fair valuation. Accordingly, we do not mind holding our businesses for several years till our investment thesis plays out. We inform our members of any changes in the fundamentals of any businesses that we hold and provide our views proactively.
