Gain an insight into how the world of finance works. The first module tracks the story of a young entrepreneur who starts a cookie business with the help of some money from his mother and grows it all the way to an IPO. It helps the participant understand the steps involved in raising capital for a business.
The second module navigates through different aspects of how equity markets operate. It discusses the role of financial intermediaries and regulators, how the clearing and settlement process works, and how stock market indexes are constructed.
The third module discusses how several key corporate actions operate and their likely impact on the share price of a company. The final test is based on these three modules and upon its successful completion, the participant will be provided a certificate.
Finally, the course provides two additional bonus modules that help the participant make sense of financial jargon in simple terms and highlight the process involved in incorporating your own company. In summary, the participant will learn the following:

Modules
Points to note:
1. Please complete all required modules before attempting the final exam.
2. Each required module contains practice questions at the end. It is advised to attempt these questions before taking the final exam.
3. To receive a certificate, the participant must score 80% or more in the final exam.
Certification provided by the Society of Financial Independence
A certificate of completion will be provided by the Society of Financial Independence after the successful completion of the course. This entails scoring over 80% in the final exam that should be attempted after completing all required modules.
